An Iraqi F-16 jet raided a number of Daesh outposts in Ar-Rutbah town in western Anbar leaving a number of terrorists dead, including a senior leader.
Saeed al Olwani, who is in charge of security affairs in the Iraqi town, was among the dead, a statement by the military media room of the Iraqi joint operations' command said Thursday.
A number of Daesh outposts were also destroyed in the bombardment, it added.
On Friday, Shaker Wahib, another senior Daesh leader who is responsible for military affairs in Anbar, and a number of his companions, were killed in an air raid by international coalition war jets.
