The number of vehicles belonging to Daesh that have been destroyed has risen to 426, Lt Gen Hamid al Maliki, head of the Army Aviation Command said on Wednesday.
The cars have been shelled in the desert, western Amiriyah Fallujah since the midnight of Tuesday and till Wednesday afternoon, he added.
Earlier in the day, Maliki said a large convoy of vehicles belonging to the terrorist group, including more than 140 vehicles, has been destroyed in the desert between the provinces of Karbala and Anbar.
Separately, Iraqi Defense Minister Khaled al Obaidi met on Wednesday with the UK charge d'affaires in Baghdad.
During the meeting, the British diplomat congratulated Obaidi on the great victory achieved by the Iraqi Armed Forces against Daesh and on the liberation of Fallujah.
The liberation process, he thinks, is a major step forward to end the war against terrorism.
The UK diplomat also underlined his country's commitment to back Iraq in all domains.
