Iraqi forces and jets of the US-led alliance have killed at least 20 members of Daesh terrorist group in Salahuddin and Kirkuk provinces.
The Iraqi forces destroyed Daesh hideout and killed 10 of its members in Salahuddin province, according to Iraqi local and security sources.
Sources further said that the jets of the US-led alliance killed yesterday 10 Daesh militants in Kirkuk province.
Clashes between Iraqi forces and the militant group have been ongoing since June 2014 when the armed group seized Mosul and other territories in Iraq.
The US-led alliance started bombing Daesh targets in Syria in September 2014 as part of a strategy aimed at rolling back the group’s territorial gains in Syria and Iraq.
