Iraqi forces killed 15 Daesh members in Saladin and Anbar governorate while Peshmerga forces foiled a Daesh attack in Nineveh, War Media Cell of the Joint Operations Command said on Sunday.
Iraqi warplanes, in coordination with intelligence, also destroyed a car affiliated to a Daesh leader, Dorid Ibrahim, in Ramadi city of Anbar. Ibrhaim was killed in the attack.
Meanwhile, Peshmerga forces destroyed two booby-trapped cars affiliated to Daesh before reaching Peshmerga forces' positions. A Daesh suicide bomber was killed during the operation, a Kurdish military source said.
