Six Libyan soldiers were injured in clashes that broke out with a Sudanese militant group in Bozyreq district, 200 kilometers from Kufra city in southeast Libya, a government official said in a statement on Thursday.
The armed confrontation led to the wounding of six Libyan soldiers and killing 20 elements of the Sudanese militant group as well as detaining six others, spokesman for the media office of the municipal council in Kufra city Mostafa logly said
The face-off erupted after members of the Sudanese militant group called "Sudan Liberation" Movement sneaked into the Libyan territories and carried out some illegal acts like kidnapping, looting and murder, he added.
