At least five civilians were killed Monday in an attack by the militants at a court building in Pakistan's restive north-western province of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, dpa cited officials as saying. Three militants including a suicide bomber also died in the attack at the Judicial Complex in the provincial capital, Peshawar, police said. Mian Iftikhar Hussain, provincial information minister said after the suicide bomber blew himself up, his accomplices fired indiscrimately inside the complex. Zahid Khan of the state-run Lady Reading Hospital confirmed the civilian death toll. He said that 26 people were injured. Zarnosh Khan from local police station said that two militants who had entered the building after initial bombing were killed in a targeted operation by police.
