Vin Diesel names new daughter after late actor Paul Walker

Vin Diesel and girlfriend Paloma Jimenez have chosen a special name for their newborn daughter.
The 47-year-old actor and 31-year-old actress named their third child Pauline after Diesel's friend and late The Fast and the Furious co-star, Paul Walker. Diesel and Jimenez welcomed the infant earlier this month, and the star revealed the name Monday on Today.
"There's no other person that I'm thinking about as I'm cutting this umbilical cord," he said of the late actor. "I knew he was there and I felt like, you know, a way to keep his memory a part of my memory, a part of my world."
Diesel and Walker debuted as Dominic Toretto and Brian O'Conner in The Fast and the Furious (2001), and went on to co-star in four sequels. Walker died in a car accident at age 40 in November 2013, and Diesel honored his friend at an advance screening of Furious 7 last week.
Diesel and Jimenez are also parents to daughter Hania and son Vincent. Furious 7 opens in theaters April 3, and the actor is scheduled for The Last Witch Hunter with Rose Leslie and xXx: The Return of Xander Cage.
