Sylvester Stallone will not fight ISIS in Rambo: Last Blood.
The 69-year-old actor's rep denied rumors of such in a statement to Rolling Stone after a fake news website reported Stallone revealed details about the movie during an appearance at San Diego Comic-Con.
"We are working on it right now, actually," the site quoted the star as saying. "We have teams scouting Iraq and parts of Syria where ISIS have their greatest strongholds. We're working with the locals there to help deliver the most intense and realistic Rambo movie experience ever."
Stallone's rep responded, "Sylvester Stallone did not attend Comic-Con 2015, and consequently there was no official remark from him regarding Rambo made there at the event. This is not an accurate report."
Stallone portrayed John Rambo in First Blood (1982) and three Rambo sequels, and announced plans for Last Blood in December 2014. The actor will reprise another iconic character, Rocky Balboa, in the seventh Rocky film, Creed, and is also scheduled for The Expendables 4.
