Rock icon Steven Tyler says he rushed to his daughter Liv's hospital bedside and made it just in time to welcome his second grandson into the world.
"When I got the call that Liv Tyler was going into labor, after crying like a baby myself, I immediately dropped everything and went to to the airport to get on the next available flight," the Aerosmith frontman wrote on Facebook Friday. "When I landed I kept calling my daughter Mia Tyler who was already helping Liv and she kept giving me minute by minute updates,"HURRY THE BABY IS COMING!" I made it RIGHT in time before my second grandson entered this world. It was another (God wink) moment of a lifetime for me."
He also shared a photo of himself with his beautiful daughters.
This is the first child for Liv Tyler and her boyfriend, sports agent David Gardner. The baby's name has not been announced yet.
Us Weekly said the boy was born six weeks early on Feb. 11.
The Lord of the Rings and Armageddon actress, who was recently seen in the TV drama The Leftovers, also has a 10-year-old son named Milo with her ex-husband Royston Langdon.
