Ricky Hil and girlfriend Rita Ora will never collaborate professionally.
The 24-year-old son of designer Tommy Hilfiger, born Richard Hilfiger, said as much to the Mirror on Tuesday. Hilfiger told the publication he is reluctant to mix work and play after Ora's ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris allegedly blocked her from performing "I Will Never Let You Down" after they broke up.
"Rita and I listen to each other's music and tell each other what we think, but I'd never work with her," the aspiring rapper declared. "I think that always ends relationships. It's the same with designing; you've got to do your own thing and support each other when you can."
Ora and Harris started dating in May 2013, and released "I Will Never Let You Down" in March. The pair seemed amicable when they announced their breakup in June, but the singer was reportedly "devastated" when Harris refused to let her perform the song at the Teen Choice Awards in August.
Hilfiger and Ora have been linked since August, and split their time between Los Angeles and London. Ora recently said Harris was "the right guy at the wrong time," and commented on the difficulty of long distance relationships. She is currently working on her second studio album.
