US reality star Kim Kardashian West made a visit to one of Dubai’s leading medical spas, where she was treated for psoriasis, a condition characterized by dark itchy patches of skin.
Kim has been very outspoken about her battle with psoriasis. The combination of jet-lag and long travel triggered a breakout; luckily Kim’s best friend Carla Dibello brought her to CosmeSurge, where she was offered a warm UAE welcome and quickly treated by reputed German-trained dermatologist, Dr. Pegah Dehdari.
CosmeSurge is Dubai’s leading quality cosmetic surgery and aesthetic medicine spa, offering a range of body and skin treatments for men and women of all ages.
“I do not trust many people with my skin and my psoriasis is a really sensitive issue for me. The CosmeSurge team made me feel so welcome and comfortable. I feel like my breakout is already getting better which is amazing. I am so lucky to have been introduced to Dr. Pegah Dehdari and CosmeSurge,” Kim said.
On Monday, Kim visited the Rashid Center for the Disabled in Dubai. Kardashian, in town since Thursday, watched a documentary on the history of the center and met the center’s children, who performed a traditional dance to welcome her.
Kardashian earlier held a make-up masterclass in the city. She also filmed for her show “Keeping up with the Kardashians” at a local Givenchy store.
