Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson was enjoying his morning drive to work a little too much Monday when he sideswiped a parked vehicle, damaging its left side mirror.
Johnson, 43, shared the story of his encounter with the unsuspecting driver of the vehicle on Instagram, telling his followers of how it became one of friendship. At one point, the two stood in the road, "pointing to his mirror and laughing like two ol' crazy buddies."
The San Andreas actor said he had been blasting music in his truck Monday morning "singing away like I'm having a one man party," when he heard a loud bang. When he realized he had sideswiped another truck, owned by Audie Bridges, he promptly turned around to own up to his mistake and offered to pay for the damages.
"Wow, this is gonna be an awesome story!" Bridges reportedly said once he confirmed the culprit's identity to be The Rock in the flesh. He refused to take Johnson's money and fixed the damage himself within a few days.
"Want to thank Mr. Audie Bridges of Wakefield, Mass. for being so cool about the whole thing," the former wrestler wrote. "Life is funny cause you never know who you're gonna run into... and sure as hell never know who's truck you're gonna sideswipe while driving to work."
