Bristol Palin knows second pregnancy a 'huge disappointment'

Bristol Palin, the daughter of former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, announced Thursday she's pregnant with her second child.

The Dancing With the Stars contestant took to her blog to share the news.

"I wanted you guys to be the first to know that I am pregnant," she wrote. "Honestly, I've been trying my hardest to keep my chin up on this one."

This will be her second child, both of whom were conceived out of wedlock. She recently broke off her engagement with Dakota Meyer.

"At the end of the day there's nothing I can't do with God by my side, and I know I am fully capable of handling anything that is put in front of me with dignity and grace," Palin wrote in her blog post. "I know this has been, and will be, a huge disappointment to my family, to my close friends, and to many of you."

She asked for her fans to respect the privacy of her and her son, Tripp, 7.
