Bobby Brown issued an update on daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown on Tuesday.
The 46-year-old singer thanked fans for attending a candlelight vigil for the 21-year-old actress in a statement through attorney Christopher Brown. The remarks come amid reports Bobbi Kristina will be taken off life support on the third anniversary of mother Whitney Houston's death Thursday.
"The Brown family is amazed by the love and support from all that attended," the statement reads. "We continue to request privacy in this matter. We thank everyone that supported the vigil for Bobbi Kristina. God is hearing our prayers."
"However, the false reports that continue to appear in print and on the Internet are egregious, false and will dealt with at an appropriate time," the lawyer asserted. "In particular, the false reporting of TMZ, The National Enquirer, The Atlanta Journal Constitution and the U.K.'s Daily Mail citing police sources, family sources and Bobby Brown himself, will receive my attention."
Bobby Brown's sister and nephew, Tina and Shayne Brown, spoke to Entertainment Tonight the same day and said the actress is "progressing" and "getting better." Bobbi Kristina Brown was discovered unresponsive in a bathtub January 31, and remains on life support in an Atlanta hospital.
