227' stars to reunite on 'Southland'

Marla Gibbs will appear in an episode of "Southland," the Los Angeles police drama which stars her former "227" co-star Regina King, TNT said.Gibbs is to be a guest star on the Jan. 24 installment of the show, the cable network said.She will play Granny, a family member of a suspect Detective Lydia Adams is investigating for murder.King plays Adams.Season 4 of "Southland" is to premiere Jan. 17.Gibbs and King played mother and daughter on the sitcom "227" from 1985 to 1990.
