Germany and France confirmed that they are trying to reach a comprehensive solution to the debt crisis in Greece. French Finance Minister Pierre Moscovici said on Tuesday in Berlin after meeting with his German counterpart Wolfgang Schaeuble: ”’We share the determination that Greece should stay in the euro zone and that Greece should do the reforms necessary to ensure the integrity of the euro through these efforts.” The French finance minister, added that they would make every effort together for reaching a solution adding that Germany and France have a common goal namely keeping Greece in the euro zone. For his part, Moscovici stressed the need for Athens to exert the required efforts to ensure it stay in the euro zone.
