Bank robbery suspect arrested in Bahrain

The Director-General of Criminal Investigation Directorate (CID) said that Criminal Search Police in cooperation with the Northern Governorate's Security Directorate and the King Fahd Causeway's Security arrested yesterday's al-Moqasha-located bank robbery suspect within 5 hours from receiving the complaint report.
Immediately after receiving the report at the Main Operations Room in the Interior Ministry, criminal evidence and crime-scene police teams moved to the area, defined the crime scene, conducted examination and investigations as well as clues and traces gathering, which led to pinpointing and publicizing the identity of the culprit.
After Public Prosecution's permission had been obtained, the suspect was arrested whilst attempting to flee the country via King Fahd Causeway. He was caught in possession of the stolen funds in addition to a firearm.
The CID's Director-General added that legal action was taken to refer the case to the Public Prosecution.
