The report quoted Indian railway sources as saying that such a system, whose details are yet to be revealed, will be set up on other routes as well in several phases. India's has one of the longest railway networks in the world. On Sept. 13, nine people were killed when two train collided in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu.
