Jeddah - Arabstoday

Emaar Middle East is set to hand over the first homes in its landmark Jeddah Gate development shortly. The residences in Abraj Al-Hilal 1, the first phase of Jeddah Gate, will be handed over in the coming weeks to customers. Emaar Middle East has completed the infrastructure networks envisaged in the whole Jeddah Gate master plan. Telecom connectivity, water and power supply, storm water, sewage treatment and irrigation lines have already been completed in addition to final touches to laying out streets and street lighting for the first phase. The internal finishes to Abraj Al-Hilal 1 are currently being executed, offering residents a premium lifestyle environment. Ahmed Ali Al-Kulli, general manager of Emaar Middle East, said: "The hand-over of homes in Abraj Al-Hilal 1, a key residential tower development in Jeddah Gate, marks our commitment to project delivery.” He said the homes are developed to the highest standards by drawing on the expertise of renowned contractors and consultants. Al-Kulli pointed out that Saudi Arabia has a strong demand for homes that fit in the category of affordable luxury and Abraj Al-Hilal 1 homes will serve as a benchmark in the Kingdom for lifestyle community developments. Akram A. Omar, director development, Emaar Middle East, was also present at the launch. Spread over a plot area of 12,300 sq m, Abraj Al Hilal 1 is located centrally in the Jeddah Gate community. With exclusive retail outlets, restaurants, parks, health and fitness facilities and landscaped gardens, the residential towers integrate all lifestyle amenities in close proximity. The homes have quality, interior finishes and offer advanced telecom and entertainment connectivity, card access control system for full-proof security, split air-conditioners, and modern finishes. Smart home systems, backup power generator, central gas system, car park ventilation and 24-hour security add to the convenience of the residents. Jeddah Gate is located on over 400,000 sq m of land in Jeddah's new downtown. The project will serve as a center point for the city's new downtown, and is in close proximity to the main railroad linking Makkah and Madinah to Jeddah. Jeddah Gate, when completed, will have over — 230,000 sq m of modern office spaces and over 75,000 sq m of gross leasable retail space, thus strengthening the local economy. Emaar Middle East is developing Alkhobar Lakes, a luxury lakefront development set on approximately 2.6 million sq m featuring serene water bodies. It features more than 2,000 private villas with retail and leisure amenities that are perfect for family living. In close proximity to Al-Khobar City, Dhahran and Dammam, Alkhobar Lakes is one of the premier lakefront developments and the largest integrated community in Saudi Arabia. Owners of the first homes in Al-Nada Village — one of the two residential villages launched in Alkhobar Lakes has started the home inspection stages to complete the handing over process. Emaar Middle East is also developing the Emaar Residences at the Fairmont Makkah, located on the Haram Plaza. The 648 apartments are situated at the most upper floors of Makkah Clock Tower starting from the 30th floor and ending at the 53, and operated by Fairmont Hotels.
