Iranian Envoy to Kabul Mohammad Reza Bahrami stressed Tehran's resolve to further consolidate relations and boost investment in Afghanistan.
The Islamic Republic of Iran is determined to broaden political, economic and cultural relations with Afghanistan and increase investment in the neighboring country.
He made the remarks in a meeting with a group of local political, economic and cultural officials of Kandahar province on Thursday.
In a separate meeting with Afghan businessmen in Kandahar, the Iranian ambassador expressed the hope that the two countries would witness further expansion of economic cooperation in the near future.
