US stocks on Monday had their best day since March on a percentage basis after the Federal Bureau of Investigation said its review of a new batch of Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s emails won't lead to charges.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA, +2.08% soared 371.32 points, or 2.1%, to close at 18,259.60.
The S&P 500 index SPX, +2.22% rose 46.34 points, or 2.2%, to finish at 2,131.52. The Nasdaq Composite Index COMP, +2.37% climbed 119.80 points, or 2.4%, to end at 5,166.17.
