The Qatar Exchange keep its upward trend Tuesday adding 121.24 points or 1.42% to 8,665.42 points from the previous closing of 8,544.18. The volume of shares traded was up to 8,786,780 from 6,335,338 on Monday and the value of shares increased to QR343,604,317.58 from QR247,585,444.74 Monday. Top gainers were Qatar National Bank which was up 3.16% to QR143.50, Masref Al Rayan by 2.41% to QR23.41, Doha Bank up by 3.04% to QR54.20, a Insurance by 3.02% to QR29.00 and Islamic Holding by 9.96% to QR27.60. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector added 265.53 and the Insurance sector rose 86.44 points. The Qatar industrial sector gained 61.48 points and the Services sector was up 44.24 points.
