The Qatar Exchange was down on Thursday 53.65 points or 0.61% to 8,711.49 points from the previous closing of 8,765.14. The volume of shares traded down to 4,728,997 from 13,325,059 on Wednesday, and the value of shares fell to QR210,031,804.83 from QR614,444,230.28 Wednesday. Among the top losers were Industries Qatar whose share dropped by 1.01% to QR147.00, Qatar Islamic Bank lost 1.58% to QR81.00, Barwa fell 1.08% to QR32.05 and Rayan 0.75% to QR23.70. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector dropped 103.97 points while the Qatar industrial sector down 69.74 points and the Services sector lost 17.32 points.
