The Qatar Exchange was down on Wednesday 31.00 points or 0.37% to 8,398.23 points from the previous closing of 8,412.44. The volume of shares traded down to 3,023,456 from 3,554,559 on Tuesday, and the value of shares increased to QR153,120,448.96 from QR141,356,933.75 Tuesday. Among the top losers were Industries Qatar whose share dropped by 0.79% to QR137.70, Qatar Islamic Bank lost 1.52% to QR77.90, Qatar Telecom 0.65 to QR153.80, Al khalij Commercial Bank fell 0.64% to QR17.11 and Vodafone Qatar was down 0.90% to QR7.71. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector fell 54.16 and the Insurance sector added 77.79 points. The Qatar industrial sector dropped 55.91 points and the Services sector was down 13.54 points.
