The Qatar Exchange was down on Tuesday 14.53 points or 0.18% to 8,249.29 points from the previous closing of 8,263.82 . The volume of shares traded was down to 3,566,430 from 4,873,600, and the value of shares decreased to QR 128,753,662.18 from QR 131,694,577.13 Monday Among the top losers were Qatar National Bank whose share dropped 0.38% to QR 131.00, United Dev. Company lost 0.81 to QR 69.30 , Electricity & Water fell 0.52% to QR132.90 and Comm. Bank of Qatar down 0.72% to QR 69.30 . Among the top gainers were Al Kaleej Takaful which was up 0.73% to QR 41.55, National Leasing rose 2.71% to QR 43.65 and Barwa gained 1.48% to QR 27.50. The Banking and Financial sector dropped by 3.79 points while the Insurance sector was by up 13.17 points. The Qatar industrial sector lost 1.91 points and the Services sector was up 21.95 points.
