Muscat Securities Market (MSM) general index (30) lost 19.8 points on Tuesday's trading session, a decline by 0.33 percent to close at 5886.96 points, compared to the last session, which stood at 5906.71 points, Omani state news agency ONA reported.
The trading value amounted to RO 3.345 million, comprising a decline by 9.52 percent compared to the last session, which stood at RO 3.698 million. Market value fell by 0.1 percent to reach about RO 17.31 billion, according to the MSM report.
The value of shares bought by non-Omani investors reached RO 1,247,000, comprising 37.26 percent, while the value of shares sold by non-Omani investors reached RO 1,498,000, comprising 44.77 percent. The net non-Omani investment declined by 7.51 percent to RO 251,000.
