The dollar traded in the upper 100 yen zone in early deals on Monday in Tokyo, marginally higher than levels in New York on Friday.
At 9 a.m., the dollar fetched 100.66-68 yen compared with 100.55-65 yen in New York and 100.60-62 yen on Friday at 5 p.m. in Tokyo.
The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.1044 dollars and 111.17-24 yen against 1.1043-1053 dollars and 111.10-20 yen in New York and 1.1075-1077 dollars and 111.42-46 yen on Friday afternoon in Tokyo.
