Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,220.45 points marking an increase of 7.10 points (0.59 percent) above the previous closing.
The increase was due to the rise in the commercial banks sector, insurance sector, services sector and industrial sector, the official Bahraini news agency BNA reported.
Results indicated that 159 equity transactions took place with a volume of 15,091,683 worth BD 2,122,416. Investors traded mainly in the commercial banks sector representing 84 percent of the total value of shares traded.
