Trading on the Bahrain bourse closed for Thursday at 1,266.37 points from its previous close of 1,272 – thus recording a loss of 5.92 points. The fall was attributed to lackluster performance in the commercial banking, investment and service sectors.Ahli United Bank ended the day at $0.0710, registering a fall of .015 points. In all there were 89,828 trades in this counter. Gulf Finance House closed the day at $0.120 recording a loss of .010 points. Nass ended the day lower by .001 at .153 fils. Batelco traded unchanged at .410 and Bahrain Commercial Facilities Company also traded unchanged at .390. At closing of trades, there were 22 trades in all and the overall volume was 307,019. The overall trade was worth BD64,556. The services sector saw the maximum movement with 44 per cent of the trades taking place in this sector.
