Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) price index closed at 2,176.9 points, compared to 2,171.4 points for the last week, an increase of 0.25%. The Financial index decreased by 0.05%, the Industrial index increased by 0.79% and the Services index increased by 0.76%.
The average daily trading volume last week reached Jordanian Dinar (JD) 7.1 Million compared to JD 30.7 Million for the last week, a decrease of 76.7%, according to ASE report.
The total trading volume during the week reached JD 35.7 Million compared to JD 122.6 Million during the last week. Trading a total of 38.6 million shares through 19,070 transactions.
From the 158 listed companies 65 ended higher, while 53 declined and 40 unchanged
