The continuing education center (CEC) of the University of Business and Technology (UBT), based in Jeddah, has concluded a series of professional training programs for the middle management staff of the Savola Group.
According to CEC Director General Amir Dhia, detailed program content was tailored to meet the needs of Savola in planning, organizing and managing others.
In line with the competency framework of the company, the program covered two different levels of its management staff.
Presented by German experts in management and communication, Rolf Hartung and Thomas Herbst, the full two- and three-day training programs included more than 100 staff members in the management and operation fields of supply chain, plant management, quality assurance, finance, HR, marketing, purchasing, packaging and export.
With the reported success of training sessions in Jeddah and Istanbul, further sessions are planned for Savola staff in Cairo and Khartoum, according to Dhia.
Founded in 2008, UBT CEC is a major professional training and career development center that provides a wide range of international training programs and certificates in Saudi Arabia and neighboring countries.
