NFT Cranes, an Abu Dhabi-based company, which is one of the world's major companies in the field of tower crane and elevators, has announced it completed 90 per cent of the AED70 million contract for the supply of giant tower cranes for the largest and highest suspension bridge in the world on the Bosporus Strait at an altitude of 300 metres above the sea, in collaboration with the Korean Hyundai Engineering company, a prime contractor in the project.
Nabil Al Zahlawi, Managing Partner of NFT Cranes, said the company officially celebrated the completion of this stage before starting on final touches of the bridge work, noting that the first car crossed the bridge and reached the other end with great success.
He explained that the new $7 billion bridge over the Bosporus Strait will be one of the aesthetic wonders of technology. Al Zahlawi added that it will connect the European part of Istanbul, Turkey, with its Asian part.
