The Middle East retail giant LuLu Group is expanding further in Saudi Arabia with the opening of a new shopping mall and hypermarket in Al-Ahsa today.
The LuLu shopping mall and hypermarket in Al Salmaniya District of Hofuf will be officially inaugurated by Prince Badr bin Muhammed bin Jalawi, governor of Al-Ahsa province.
The hypermarket, which is the ninth in the Kingdom, is spread over an area of more than 300,000-square feet and will serve as a major shopping destination for Saudis and expatriates in Hofuf and its surrounding areas.
The new shopping mall also hosts H&M, Mothercare, Starbucks, Swatch, money exchange outlets, jewelry shops and a food court.
Shopping at Al-Ahsa’s LuLu mall and hypermarket will start from 1 p.m. today.
Yusuff Ali, chairman of LuLu Group, is a billionaire businessman and a prominent philanthropist. Al-Ahsa’s LuLu Hypermarket is the 134th shopping store in LuLu’s portfolio.
LuLu Hypermarket, the retail division of the multidimensional and multinational LuLu Group, has always been a trendsetter in the region’s retail industry.
LuLu symbolizes quality retailing and is immensely popular with shoppers across the Gulf region. The store offers an ultra-modern shopping ambience by integrating all conceivable needs of the consumers under one roof.
LuLu Hypermarket has extensively laid-out counters, sprawling parking spaces, play areas for children and bank counters besides a panoply of international and regional brands aptly justifying its tagline, “LuLu, where the world comes to shop.”
Apart from the Kingdom, LuLu has a strong presence in Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Egypt, India, Indonesia and Malaysia.
