LG Electronics, the global leader and technology innovator in consumer electronics, has announced its LG Home Chef Competition in Saudi Arabia, which will be organized at Makarem Annaheel Hotel & Resort Jeddah on Dec. 26.
The competition, which is open to only amateur cooks, will see participation from Saudi residents aged 18 and above. LG will start inviting applications for the competition through an online registration process through Dec. 14. Applicants will be required to upload their recipes and supportive content in the form of videos and pictures on the dedicated web page for the competition http://unitednaghi.com.sa/
Four teams comprising two members will be shortlisted for the contest, and winners will be selected by a panel of prominent judges based on set criteria such as creativity, ease of cooking, healthy recipe, presentation, taste and quality, coordination between team members and cleanliness.
“As a leading consumer electronics company in the region, LG is proud to organize the LG Home Chef Competition for the first time in Saudi Arabia in conjunction with the Naghi Group. This event comes as part of LG’s continued efforts to enhance our close relationship with the Saudi community, and offers cooking enthusiasts in the country a live interactive experience to display their culinary skills before an elite crowd,” said Belal Al-Shanqiti, Marketing Manager, LG Electronics Saudi Arabia.
The LG Home Chef Competition builds on the success of the company’s hugely popular LG Life Tastes Good Championship Competition, which it has been organized for the last several years in Saudi Arabia. The competition has witnessed overwhelming response from participants from around the country.
The company leads a number of initiatives in the region to enhance people skills and provide them with the tools they need to grow and develop. It has helped improve the quality of life through initiatives that reflect its efforts to motivate, inspire, and empower people everywhere to lead better lives.
