Kudu, the largest restaurant company founded in Saudi Arabia, announced hat it is embarking on a redesign process for its restaurants with a theme of a “Brand New Day” for Kudu, inspired by the requirements of healthy choices and modern living.
Kudu plans to build over 50 new restaurants with this redesign of image, and operating system improvements in the next 12 months.
Kudu will also begin the process of remodelling its existing locations with the fresh new look throughout the Kingdom.
In addition to the renovation of its image, many improvements in menu, marketing, and service to the customer are currently under way in the locations operating today under Kudu management!
In this context, Rakan Al-Rashed, chairman of the Board for Kudu, said: “Kudu’s Brand New Day is a manifestation of its service philosophy, rooted in a dedication to continual increases in quality and responsiveness to customer demands. Furthermore, it reflects the company’s loyalty to its employees and the communities to which we live and operate in; all these changes at Kudu quick service restaurants will touch the customers and employees in a positive and progressive way; it will also have a healthy effect on their lives.”
Kudu has also has embarked on an upgrade of its menu, with an emphasis on the company’s Saudi identity, said the chairman.
He said: “Kudu has come to be seen as the healthy face of the quick service restaurant industry according to consumers who participated in recent focus group studies conducted by the company. As a result, Kudu places a lot of importance on raising awareness about healthy and balanced lifestyles – a matter which is important for everybody in the Kingdom.”
Kudu’s changes to its menus are an integral element of this awareness-raising process, that gives greater prominence to healthy and balanced options.
For example, the company has added healthy and delicious rice meals next to its wide variety of high quality, freshly prepared products.
Likewise, fresh salads are an increasingly prominent element in the menu, alongside the new grilled options, to ensure we provide our guests balanced lifestyle selections.
“This is contributing to make Kudu healthier than ever, while not compromising on our commitment to the taste and customer enjoyment,” said Kudu’s chairman.
As part of its “Brand New Day” campaign, Kudu also announces today the kick off of its E2E (Employee to Employer) program, which offers to young, Saudi nationals the opportunity to take part in an entrepreneurship program that allows each qualified participant a chance for ownership in Kudu’s franchising program.
The goal of the program is to have over 40 young entrepreneurs to be able to own a franchised Kudu within the next three to five years!
All of these changes demonstrates that Kudu Cares about its customers, employees and the communities they serve.
The team at Kudu believes that this new direction is closely aligned with the goals and objectives of Vision2030.
