More than 500 IT enterprises and professionals attended global information and communications technology (ICT) solutions provider Huawei's Cloud Congress Europe, a two-day event, here on Friday.
"As the demand for data centers and cloud computing continue to grow exponentially, Huawei is committed to developing green and sustainable long term ICT solutions that will reduce environmental impact while improving energy and resource efficiency," Zheng Yelai, President of Huawei IT Production line said in his speech during the conference.
Huawei has signed 210 technical cooperation projects in Europe and participated in 33 "Horizon 2020" projects of the European Union, according to Zhang.
"Huawei continues to invest in Europe and to create value for European customers. In 2012, we built a Global Service Center (GSC) in Romania with 1000+ employees who provide 24/7 support services for all European customers," Lu Yong, President of CEE & Nordic Region, Huawei said in his speech.
Huawei, founded in 1987, is based in China.
