Ericsson showcased some of its latest demos from the Mobile World Congress 2017 at STC Future Digitalization Expo (FUDEX 2017) that was held last week in Riyadh.
The event provided a unique platform for Ericsson to demonstrate the company’s journey to 5G technology.
It was inaugurated by Mohammad Al-Suwaiyel, minister of communications and information technology, together with Khaled Biyari, STC Group CEO, accompanied by the company’s top executives.
During the two-day event, Ericsson carried out several demos, including live 5G trial, IOT “Smart Parking,” Robotic Lego, 5G Ready Core & Network Slicing, in addition to HDS and Datacenters.
Ali Eid, head of Ericsson Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Palestine, said: “STC FUDEX 2017 was a great opportunity for Ericsson to be a part of an important industry event in the region, one where we were able to present our unprecedented solutions to the industry.
Our demonstrations were positively and highly perceived and in line with STC’s transformation toward digitalization.
