Bupa Arabia for Cooperative Insurance sponsored a forum for small and medium-sized enterprises, which was recently organized by the Small and Medium Enterprises Authority (SMEA) and hosted at the King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC) in Jeddah.
The forum was attended by several key governmental agencies, private sector companies, and more than 400 small and medium-sized enterprise owners and executives in the Kingdom.
Ali Sheneamer, Bupa Arabia’s COO, said: “Bupa Arabia’s care for this significant economic event comes within the framework of its continuous efforts in becoming an active component in supporting the national economy. At Bupa Arabia, we aim to keep pace with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 by cooperating with various governmental agencies and private sector companies to support and develop the small and medium-sized enterprises. Those enterprises are considered to be the core of economic growth, and therefore we aspire to support the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 by aiming to raise their contribution to the GDP from 20 to 35 percent.”
Bupa Arabia’s booth at the forum saw a large turnout, with numerous participants and visitors expressing their appreciation for the health care and insurance company’s sponsorship of the event and for the preliminary health assessments provided there, which included blood pressure and diabetes level checks.
“At Bupa Arabia, we always ensure that we constantly support small and medium-sized enterprises in the Kingdom,” Sheneamer said. “We are also committed to fulfilling our promise to continue being the best health care partner for these enterprises and their employees.
“Bupa Arabia is currently providing health insurance programs that are specially designed to fulfil small and medium-sized enterprises’ needs. Through these programs, Bupa Arabia aims to achieve highest levels of satisfaction and peace of mind for the enterprises’ employees and families, providing them a healthier and happier life,” he said.
