ALBAIK Food Systems Company Ltd. (Albaik) has been awarded the title of the “Best Local Saudi Restaurant” in Saudi Arabia. The award was presented at the Saudi Tourism Excellence Awards ceremony, organized by the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage (SCTH) on the sidelines of the 10th Saudi Travel and Tourism Investment Market.
The event was held at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center in March.
The convention was inaugurated by Riyadh Gov. Prince Faisal bin Bandar and Prince Sultan bin Salman, president of the SCTH.
Rami Abu-Ghazaleh, CEO of Albaik, thanked the Riyadh governor, and praised him for his contribution toward the development and growth of the Saudi capital. He also thanked Prince Sultan for his efforts to enhance the tourism industry in Saudi Arabia and boost its competitiveness.
“We are thrilled at winning this important award, which has the special support of their Royal Highnesses Prince Faisal bin Bandar and Prince Sultan bin Salman. Their patronage establishes the Saudi Tourism Excellence Awards as the most prestigious honor in the Saudi tourism sector, making it a prize that every business associated with tourism aims to win,” Abu-Ghazaleh said.
“The awards have become a reference by which companies in the local tourism industry are measured, since they are in recognition of excellence, not only in tourism but also in the performance, quality and uniqueness of the products and services provided for tourists,” he added.
“We are very grateful to our loyal customers, who are responsible for this prestigious achievement. We have been keen to get closer to them in the Kingdom and will continue to provide them with their favorite meals. We will remain loyal to this precious trust, the delicious taste they have long loved, and continue to draw joy on their faces,” the chief executive said.
The Saudi Travel and Tourism Investment Market is the national tourism industry’s foremost annual event. In its 10th edition this year, the event included the participation of leading national and international travel and tourism companies, as well as 255 tourist destinations from all over the Kingdom.
Held in March every year, the convention attracts more than 25,000 travel and tourism professionals, government officials and the media. This year, over the convention’s six days, more than 40 workshops were held.
