As a key element of its Strategic Digital Transformation Project, Al Jazirah Vehicles Agencies has announced its decision to award the project to SAP and shift its managerial and operational software systems to SAP ERP & Automotive Operations Solutions Software.
The Strategic Digital Transformation Project is an initiative by Al Jazirah Vehicles Agencies management to take its IT infrastructure to the next level. It aims to employ the latest hardware and software technologies and solutions across its organization with the objective of streamlining and integrating its managerial and operational systems and processes.
The project will include the implementation and operation of SAP Enterprise Resource Planning — ERP and Automotive Operations Solution Software (Dealer Business Management — DBM) from SAP, which will be used across Al Jazirah Vehicles Agencies’ entire network of operations in the Kingdom.
SAP demonstrated its leadership and strength as a key partner for the project by offering a fully integrated and specialized automotive solution and ERP system, which simplifies collaboration, management, maintenance, and business intelligence reporting, in addition to strong customer relationship.
Sheikh Abdullah bin Fahad Al-Kraidees, chairman of Al Jazirah Vehicles Agencies co. Ltd., said: “We are pleased to announce our cooperation with SAP as a strategic partner to take our Digital Transformation project forward and to new horizons; our investment in this project is a testament that reiterates our uninterrupted commitment to offer our valued clients the highest levels of services.”
Ahmed Al-Faify, managing director, SAP Saudi Arabia Software Trading Co. Ltd., said: “Al Jazirah Vehicles Agencies’ digital transformation and innovative business plans will make it easier and faster for customers to receive vehicles, spare parts and service requests. SAP is committed to supporting the Kingdom’s automotive and private sectors in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.”
The contract was signed in Riyadh in the presence of senior executives from both companies. The operational proceedings of the project will commence with immediate effect.
