Trade and Industry Minister Tarek Kabil is scheduled to return from Davos on Saturday after participating in the World Economic Forum which wrapped up on Friday.
On the fringe of Davos Forum, the minister held intensive meetings with representatives of key international companies, the Ministry of Trade and Industry said in a statement on Saturday.
Kabil had talks with Paolo Merloni, the Executive Chairman of Ariston Thermo.
Merloni said the company plans to pump more investments into Egypt to cater for market needs of household apparatus.
The minister also convened with the CEO of the K-Cap company which operates in the petrochemical, petroleum and mining domains.
The K-Cap company is interested in investing in Egypt in the fertilizers sector, the statement said.
Kabil posted the companies on the Egyptian economic reform program which encourages foreign investments.
The minister also referred to the investment incentives to be offered by the new investment law.
