President Abdel Fattah El Sisi issued a decree approving a 30 million Kuwaiti dinar loan agreement that was signed in Cairo in November 2015.
The loan agreement between Egypt and the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) would contribute to bankrolling the Egypt-Saudi Arabia power linkage project.
The president also issued a decree approving a 2 billion yen Japanese grant to Egypt.
The grant will help securing scientific and research equipment for the Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology.
The decrees were published in the gazette on Thursday.
