Minister of Transport Galal El Saeed attended on Tuesday the activities of the "mega projects in Egypt" conference under the auspices of the ministry of planning.
The conference aims at exploring the mega projects in Egypt which aim at creating more job opportunities in line with "Egypt 2030 vision."
The minister said that his ministry adopts the establishment of mega projects estimated at EGP 50 billion including a maritime transport project where a container station will be established in Safaga, Damietta and Alexandria with investments ranging between dlrs 500 million and 1 billion.
He pointed out to a project to develop railways including the renovation of train carriages and stations, in addition to roads and underground metro projects.
