The volume of trade exchange between Egypt and Tunisia hit dlrs 181 million from January to September, 2016, the Egyptian minister plenipotentiary in Tunis, Inas Zidan, said.
In statements to MENA on Wednesday, Zidan, the head of the Egyptian commercial office in Tunis, said the trade balance tilted in favor to Egypt as the Egyptian exports to Tunisia reached dlrs 137 million.
The volume of trade exchange between the two countries boasted dlrs 234.3 million in 2015, including dlrs 160.1 million in Egyptian exports, Zidan said, noting that trade exchange hit its highest in 2012.
She noted that Tunisian investments in Egypt stood at dlrs 36 million, while Egyptian investments in Tunisia reached dlrs 2.2 million.
