Thai Trade Exhibition Oman 2017 (TTXO 2017) is scheduled to begin on May 9 at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre (OCEC), Muscat. The five-day event, ending May 13, is expected to attract some 100 exhibitors and 22,000 visitors.
Under the theme ‘Health and Wellness’, TTXO 2017 will feature nearly 100 Thai companies offering various types of medical supplies and supplements, herbal goods, spas and cosmetics, food and beverages, home and decorative items, jewellery, fashion products, and souvenirs.
Perfect opportunity
“TTXO 2017 is the perfect opportunity for Middle-East and North Africa customers to appreciate what Thailand has to offer. We are bringing Thai-ness to Muscat,” said Akavut Tangsilikusonwong, Managing Director of Vega Intertrade and Exhibition, the show’s organiser.
“The Middle-East represents a great potential market for Thai companies, and Thai companies have much to offer to Middle-East customers,” added Tangsilikusonwong.
Anan Salem, Arabic Business Development Manager of Vejthani Hospital, noted, “TTXO is a great platform for us to show the potential of Thailand’s healthcare services.”
The Thai Trade Exhibition Oman 2016 generated international trade worth about US$30 million in business matching activities, with 85 Thai companies exhibiting their products and services. “Bangpakok 9 International Hospital attended Thai Trade Exhibition 2016 and received very good feedback from visitors,” said Prateep Kuapisamai, Managing Director of Bangpakok 9 Hospital. “People from the Middle East are confident about the quality of Thailand’s hospitals and wellness service providers,” he added.
