The minister praised the company’s projects and its recent installation 20 kWh solar-powered clean energy production system at its headquarters in Ma'ameer, as part of a plan aimed at reducing dependence on the conventional power grid.
The minister explained the setting up of the Sustainable Energy Unit and said the Bahrain government is encouraging investments in renewable energy along with plans and projects of companies in the field.
He said Bahrain aims to encourage the use of solar energy in Bahrain and appreciated the efforts of company officials, especially is chairman, for their willingness to offer solar panels installation to individuals and companies at competitive rates.
Almoayyed thanked the minister and officials for the welcome and the hospitality and said they were grateful for having been given an opportunity to co-operate with the authorities in implementing the latest renewable energy projects in Bahrain at a low installation and maintenance cost.
