President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Saturday asserted the necessity of respecting deadlines for delivery of new urban and industrial cities to the industrial sector.
The president made the remarks while chairing a meeting on government’s price plans and market control.
The meeting was attended by Prime Minister, Governor of the Central Bank of Egypt and the Ministers of Defense, Interior Affairs, Finance and Supply. Heads of the General Intelligence Directorate and the Administrative Control Authority (ACA) also attended the meeting.
The president issued directives to make all basic food commodities available at reasonable prices and to maintain a strategic storage of goods for at least six months forward, Presidential Spokesman Alaa Youssef said.
The meeting took up providing incentives for strategic goods manufacturers nationwide to double national product and cut exports, the spokesman said.
