The Social Fund for Development (SFD) will participate in the exhibition for traditional handicrafts entitled “Buy the Egyptian products”.
Under the auspices of Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry, the exhibition is held on November 26-28 at the Foreign Ministry's headquarters and comes as part of the Egyptian diplomacy's keenness on backing home-made products.
The event is organized in coordination between the Social Solidarity Ministry, the Social Fund for Development (SFD) and the National Coordinating Committee for Preventing and Combating Illegal Migration (NCCPIM).
The participation of SFD in the event comes in line with the State's policy with regard to encouraging home-made products, backing small-sized projects and preserving Egyptian skillful experience in handicrafts, said the SFD acting secretary general.
Neveen Gamei hailed the tireless efforts exerted by the NCCPIM, noting that the Social Fund for Development supports all initiatives that aim at providing job opportunities for the youth.
The event comes as part of NCCPIM's efforts to back young entrepreneurs and provide appropriate opportunity to market their products in a bid to dissuade them from illegal migration
