The General Authority for Suez Canal Economic Zone (SC Zone) signed on Thursday a cooperation protocol with the Information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) at the headquarters of the (SZ Zone).
The agreement aims to boost cooperation between the SC Zone and the IDSC in several fields, including the domain of supporting the institutional memory system meant to enhance communication among workers at the SC Zone and train them on how to use it, Chairman of the General Authority of Suez Canal Economic Zone Ahmed Darwish said.
The institutional memory system is tantamount to a governmental system used for managing institutions’ resources with the highest technological methods, he added.
It helps institutions convert data into concrete results that could benefit in the processes of planning, decision-making and developing policies, he asserted.
Also, the two sides agreed to exchange information and the best applications in the administrative and technical areas as well as making good use of the consultative and scientific experience of the two bodies.
