Saudi Arabia’s Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has met with Citigroup’s Chief Executive Officer Michael Corbat in Riyadh on Sunday.
Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who is also Saudi Arabia’s second deputy premier and minister of defense, discussed with Corbat potential mutual cooperation and future investments both globally and in Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Minister of State and a Member of the Economic Development Council Mohammad Al Shaikh and Saudi Finance Minister Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Jadaan also attended the meeting along with high officials from Citigroup, according to a statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency.
Saudi Arabia chose Citigroup, HSBC and JP Morgan to manage its debut sovereign bond issue, it was reported last summer.
